PRIVATE SECTOR PREPAREDNESS RESPONSE AND RECOVERY SEMINAR SERIES
The Public/Private Partnership (P3) Program Managers of Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, and Washington, in partnership with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the private sector, have developed the Private Sector Preparedness Response and Recovery (PSPR2) Seminar Series.
Each 90-minute seminar will include subject matter experts from business and the government sharing critical infrastructure best practices, valuable lessons, and planning resources and tools to assist with mass casualty impact and recovery. This series is designed for companies and organizations interested in enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the impact and recovery of a mass casualty event.
Seminars are not cumulative and may be taken individually. Each seminar counts toward continuing education with CEU credits. The first Seminar is March 16. They will run through November 16, 2023.
This session takes a deep dive into factors that a business may not have considered during the early stages of recovering from a mass casualty event: Anniversary dates, impromptu memorials, re-modeling and re-envisioning areas where the actual crime occurred, and supporting those concerned with reopening.
By approaching this subject holistically, it is PSPR2’s hope that we can begin to prepare the private sector to navigate the layers of complexity that often can threaten the very existence of businesses, and the lives of both their employees and customers in the communities they serve.
Session 8: Oct 19 Post Incident Scams and Fraud
Session 9: Nov 16 Civil and Criminal Judicial Processes
